Three-day
team camp for high school teams. Propel your
team to become its best. Build trust,
confidence, team work, and volleyball specific skills!
The Team Retreat Camp has the
perfect combination of skills training, team
building, and competitions. There are great skills training sessions
that emphasize player fundamentals, position
skills, and
team systems. Teams participate in
team building sessions. The Team
Retreat Camp also has two great
competitions. The famous beach
tournament
(in beach city locations, grass volleyball
tournament in mountain locations) and the
capstone indoor tournament finale!
Host
a VBcamps volleyball camp at your site. A minimum of 24
participants is suggested. Camps for
Varsity, JV and middle school teams can
include skills training, team systems
training, team building and coach
consultations. Camps can be customized for
your group goals.

head coach of the 1995 US Olympic
Festival Team which two-time Olympic
Gold Medalist Misty May (top
row third from right) was a team member.
As a USA coach, Mike also coached Misty
in the 1994 US
Olympic Festival and as Head Coach of the 1992 USA Youth
National Team.
Mike Welch was head coach of the
USA Youth National Team at the US Olympic Training Center in
1996 with
Olympic Best Scorer and Silver Medalist Logan Tom (top
row third from right). All in
all, as a USA coach, Mike Welch
led players who have gone on to
become a two-time Olympic Gold
Medalist, AVP MVP, Olympic Best
Scorer, Olympic Silver Medalist,
2 USA team captains, 5 USA team
members, 5 National
Player-of-the-Year honorees, and
over 40 All-Americans
As a
collegiate head coach, Mike
Welch led teams to 267 wins, 6
nationally ranked seasons, 3
conference championships, 2
conference tournament
championships, 4 NCAA Tournament
appearances, and 1 NIVC
Tournament appearance. His
players received 2
All-American, 17 All-Region, 43 All-Conference, and 84
Academic All-Conference collegiate honorees.
